Today it is to be hoped that the "Negro" architectural influence expands
to modern occidental architecture. Since the twenties, "Negro art" has
been breathing a forgotten vigor into our breathless arts. Architecture
experienced a similar phenomenon. The architectures that we have decided
to introduce you now owes a lot to primitive expression. At the same time,
the new Third World states only aspire to an international, cubic and
cold architecture. It remains then for occidental architecture, nowadays
model for the rest of the world, to manage, and only to be fair, to offer
expressive and explicit figurations. Then would come the time for a real
architectural crossing, in total opposition with the international style.
