a house that expresses his feelings about the mountainous landscape of his childhood. the design of the levitating stones was derived from his sketches of rocks. it's a building that grows from the mountains and rocks and demonstrates the potential of architecture.

like an inkblot, the stone house can suggest many things and it is easy to see a bird lurking in the plan and profile, or to imagine that the windowless voids of the structure are a ruin of something that was once whole.

la maison est l'expression des sentiments a l'egard du paysage montagneux depuis la tendre enfance. ledesign de pierres en levitation serait derive des croquis de rochers. c'est le type de maison qui emerge de la montagne et des rochers environnants et demontre ainsi le potential de l'architecture.
comme une tache d'encre, cette maison suggere beaucoup de choses a la fois; c'est facile d'y voir un oiseau dissimule dans le plan et le profil, ou meme d'imaginer les creux sans fenetres de la structure comme les ruines d'un reste de quelque chose qui a ete la avant.
